ABOUT US
The Future Resources Development Association (FRDA) is an international non-profit organisation uniting legal and natural persons who are actively engaged in development projects, geological and hydrogeological prospecting, humanitarian activities, and the restoration and responsible management of natural resources.
Our work is built on the belief that environmentally responsible development and social well-being must go hand in hand. With members operating across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America, we address environmental and humanitarian challenges in diverse regions and contexts.

FRDA members bring decades of experience in:
- environmental and geological projects
- hydrogeology and groundwater protection
- environmental monitoring and remediation
- sustainable community development
- cultural, educational, and humanitarian programs
This unique combination of expertise allows FRDA to deliver professional, transparent, and long-term impactful activities in all areas of its mission.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to promote the sustainable use of natural resources, support communities facing environmental or developmental challenges, and advance scientific knowledge, environmental responsibility, and humanitarian values.
Through our international network, we:
- support communities impacted by ecological disasters
- mitigate environmental and social impacts of mining and industrial activities
- promote responsible, science-based management of natural resources
- encourage environmentally conscious decision-making at all levels — from local authorities to global partnerships
- contribute to a balanced coexistence between development and environmental protection
FRDA’s mission is rooted in the conviction that a sustainable future is possible only through cooperation, scientific understanding, and respect for both nature and people
GLOBAL PRESENCE
FRDA brings together experts and partners with international experience across:
• Europe
• Middle East
• Africa
• Asia
• North America
Although FRDA currently implements its development work in Zambia, our members and collaborators have worked on projects across these regions. This collective global experience allows us to draw on diverse knowledge, compare approaches from different parts of the world and apply solutions that are sensitive to local environments, cultures and socio-economic conditions.
Our internationally experienced team gives FRDA the ability to connect global expertise with local needs, ensuring sustainable and culturally respectful outcomes.
